Our Rides

We’ve got rides suitable for people of all fitness levels who want to get into riding on roads with others in a club setting. We have a simple aim of getting as many people out on their bikes as possible… and enjoying it!

Most of us would agree that cycling in a group is more enjoyable and improves performance faster than cycling alone.  We welcome new members who want to ride with others and improve their abilities and fitness.

Our activities primarily take in the wonderful Yorkshire Dales offering members some of the United Kingdom’s most stunning scenery, varied terrain and quiet roads on which to enjoy their cycling. We also ride out into Lancashire and from time to time venture further afield on special club rides.

Dictated mainly by the interests of our current members, we focus primarily on providing road cycling and currently we offer a variety of distances and pace. Rides are run on Saturday and Sunday mornings, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, plus Wednesday day time and a Women’s only ride is also organised on a Thursday evening. Evening rides run during British Summer Time with the lighter evenings though may continue later into the year subject to demand and weather conditions.

We are also trialling a Sunday morning ‘off road’ ride to accommodate both Mountain and Gravel Bikes. Routes are generally from the various railway stations along the Aire Valley setting off for 10.00.
