Apparently everyone survived the effect of Brian or Bryan (not sure which) on today’s weather. Many opted for the 30/35 mile route – different to the one planned, see Steve Wilkinson’s Report. Five of us followed the 50 mile route over Waddington Fell where conditions weren’t too bad, just rather gusty. Excellent cafe stop in Waddington , most people on – guess what, beans on toast! No great surprise that it was going to rain on the way back. Great for myself to get the waterproof out after 11 days of sun in Mallorca (got the dust washed off!) We all kept together, most of the time and had a fine ride.Cheers – Rick.(as dictated to and typed by his secretary CR)
